About JSMF
On March 4, 2022, we lost Jenneca in a car accident and our lives have never been the same.
Those who love her want to ensure that her light shines on by supporting the causes Jenneca loved and the community to which she belonged.
To date, the JSMF is proud to have supported Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge with our inaugural Tattoo Bingo in Memory of Jenneca Simkonis and our Jenneca Simkonis Memorial Car Show, as well as the Women's Resource Center with our March 2023 drag bingo event.
Keep an eye out for more events in the future and ways you can join us.
About Jenneca
Jenneca Kathryn Simkonis was vibrant. She was kind and welcoming and was the kind of person who made everyone feel like someone. She had the best laugh and used it a lot. When Jenneca started laughing, it was only a matter of time before you started laughing, too. She was a wife, a sister, a daughter, a dog mom, an aunt, and a friend. She loved animals and adventure and music and fast things with motors. She was not afraid to be herself and had a natural ability to make others feel like it was okay to be themselves, too. She never met a hoodie or a pair of Chuck Taylors that she didn't love. She would almost certainly beat you at Grey's Anatomy trivia. She never let her allergies stop her from petting an animal or let a serious situation stop her from telling an inappropriate joke. We hope to continue her legacy of love, light, kindness, and inclusion and to carry her vibrancy long into the future.
